My name is Marcelle van Beusekom and I am a designer, creative thinker and do-er currently working and living in London.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, I obtained a BSc and MSc from the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology. I have also participated in a 1 year Erasmus exchange program with the MA Advanced Product
Design of the Designhögskolan (Institute of Design) in Umeå, Sweden.

My professional experience is based on strategic product design development within the context of several design consultancies (Loft Group, VanBerlo) and in-house corporations (Electrolux, Samsung). I am able to bring products to market as well as play an important role in developments in the fuzzy front end in which research, user insights, trends, vision, brand identity and strategy are essential factors to consider.
Conceptual design is my strong point; translating the dreams and strategic vision from the front end into attractive, feasible products and services up to design development & production. Within a broader design context I have recently been expanding my skills into Brand strategic projects as well as User Interface and User Experience projects of intelligent products.

I have been involved with projects for several global clients within the field of Consumer Electronics, FMCG, Food, Mobility, Public Design and Professional equipment:

Samsung, Philips, Electrolux, Siemens, Daewoo, Tulip computers, Sara Lee (Zwitsal and Douwe Egberts), Reckit Benckiser, Heineken, Friesland Campina, Dorel Netherlands, RTI Sports, Famostar, Jinding
